FIRE MARSHAL TRAINING - Wardfire (UK) Ltd
|
| |
The introduction of the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations Act 1997 (amended 1999) has placed the responsibility for fire safety at work on employers or persons with delegated control.
Most workplaces are now subject to the legal requirements of these regulations.
One requirement of employers under this act is to plan for an emergency by providing staff information and training.
Financial, educational and commercial companies such as Lloyds TSB, University College London, Euromoney Institutional Investors and HSA as well as manufacturers like Norma Products, Opperman Mastergear and Quantel Limited regularly use our Fire Marshal training.
We offer a two - hour theoretical and practical course conducted at your premises. The course comprises an introduction to general fire safety, the different types of fires and how they occur, how to extinguish them, evacuation procedures, the fire marshals role and responsibilities and the correct use of fire extinguishers. We provide all the equipment that is used on the course and by conducting the training on-site there is minimum disruption and reduced downtime to your staff.
