We are able to offer the short-term hire of fire extinguishers, fire blankets, extinguisher stands and manual fire alarms for your corporate or public event. The provision of this equipment enables your function or event to comply with current regulations by giving the correct level of fire protection.
We currently provide short-term hire of equipment for events such as the CLA Game Fair, V Music Festival, Vodafone Epsom Derby, London Fashion Week and corporate functions run in conjunction with international rugby at Twickenham.
Extinguisher sizes available:
Dry Powder 9Kg, 6Kg, 4Kg & 2Kg for use on Class A, B & C and fires with an Electrical Risk.
Water 9Lt for use on Class A fires. Not suitable for use on fires with an Electrical Risk.
Foam 9Lt & 6Lt suitable for use on Class A & B fires. Not suitable for use on fires with an Electrical Risk.
CO2 2Kg for use on Class B fires and on fires with an Electrical Risk.
Class A (Carbonaceous Fuels) fires are fires that are caused by combustion, or burning, of solid materials such as: wood, paper, textiles, straw, coal, etc.
Class B (Flammable Liquids) fires are fires that are caused by the combustion, or burning of liquefied materials such as: petrol, oils, fats, spirits, paints, tar, etc.
Class C (Flammable Gasses) fires are fires that are caused by the ignition of gasses such as: propane, butane, hydrogen, natural gas, etc. (N.B. It is imperative that the fuel supply is shut off to prevent re-ignition or explosion.)
Fires with an Electrical Risk are fires that involve materials or items that present an electrical hazard when alight such as: computers, photocopiers, printers, etc.
